There are a number of colours which are set to be big for the spring/summer season and one of those colours is none other than yellow. This colour is very much on trend this season and as such can be found in the majority of online and offline stores now. Yellow is the perfect colour for summer as not only does it not project a sense of warmth and brightness but it also practically embodies sunshine, making it the ideal choice throughout the summer months.
However, yellow is somewhat of a statement colour which is sure to brighten up any outfit. Therefore many women tend to shy away from anything yellow as they fear that it will draw too much attention to areas they would rather not draw attention to. There is a common misconception amongst many women that if they want to appear slimmer the only colour they should wear is black. However, this is simply not true, rather if women know which styles and cuts of clothing suit their body and dress to flatter their body there is absolutely no need to stick to just black. Instead other colours should be embraced and experimented with.

Having said that yellow encompasses an extremely wide and diverse collection of tones and consequently it would be fair to say that some tones suit certain people better than others. For instance those who are of a paler complexion should seek out yellow tones which add a hint of warmth to their complexion. Darker tones such as mustard are thought to be the best option for such women. Meanwhile those who have a darker complexion need not worry about seeking that sense of warmth from their clothing choice. Instead they should opt for lemon and pale yellow tones.

The best way to integrate this colour into any wardrobe is by acquiring a few statement pieces which can be mixed and matched with a number of different outfit options.  A great way of doing this is by investing in a couple of yellow tops. Tops are great as they can ensure a woman is on trend but in a much more subtle way than other items of clothing such as dresses or trousers. In addition to this tops afford a greater deal of flexibility when it comes to coordinating an ensemble. For instance tops can be teamed with a number of different trousers, skirts or jackets to create a range of different looks. For those who are still quite wary of wearing yellow asides from tops there are other subtle options available such as accessories.
Yellow is a great summer colour which should be present within any womanâ??s wardrobe wherever possible.
We all want to look good. One of the tricks used by stylists to make their clients look their best is to hide, disguise and draw attention away from their least favourite bits and highlight their favourite parts. There are lots of different ways to do this, perhaps you could wear a mid length skirt to show off great legs or a v necked top to highlight your decolletage. Accessories and particularly jewellery are great for highlighting, the more sparkly, colourful and eye catching the better.
Here are some of the ways that you can use accessories to highlight your best features:
Hair - Do you have beautiful hair? If you have glossy long hair, hair accessories or sparkly hair clips will look great and draw the eye towards your hair and accentuate its glossiness. For a more formal outfit a fascinator is the perfect way to highlight both the hair and face.
Ears -  Not a part of the body that many would state as the favourite, but ears can look great with a pair of sparkly stud earrings. This look works best with short or cropped hair as it shows off the ears the most.
Face – frame your face with beautiful colours that will reflect onto your face and make your complexion grow. Try out different options until you find the colours that really suit you best. Wear earrings, short necklaces, hats and scarves in these colours.
Neck - Both necklaces and long drop earrings are a good way of putting the focus onto a slender neck. Choker style necklaces work particularly well. A scarf will usually cover or hide your neck but a small scarf tied at the side can have the same effect as a choker.
Decolletage - medium length necklaces particularly those with a pendant will draw attention this area. They work with low cut or scoop necks.
Wrists - delicate arms and wrists look great when decorated with chunky bangles or delicate sparkly jewellery. For the summer why not wearing lots of different colour and texture bangles for a fun and eclectic look.
Hands- make your hands a feature with chunky, sparkly, cocktail rings. At the moment there are so many different styles and colours to choose from, including flowers, beaded styles and butterflies. Carrying a clutch bag and paint your nails will also draw attention to your hands.
Waist – A belt or very long necklace is the best way to show off your neat waistline. Brightly coloured belts do the trick perfectly or a long string of beads which draws the eyes downwards. Another way of highlighting your waist is by carrying a handbag that hangs at about waist height.
Ankles and legs - If you would like everyone to notice your lovely legs a beautiful pair of heels is the key, think bright colours, patent or embellishments, anything that will grab peoples eye.Â
Making the most of what you have got is common sense really, so when you next decide on which accessories to wear with your outfit think carefully about what you will be highlighting and what you would like people to notice. Don’t forget to cover and disguise the areas that you don’t like using dark colours and draped fabrics.
There is currently an abundance of patterns and prints in ladies clothing but there is often a lot of confusion amongst women as to which patterns and prints suit their style, shape and age. Consequently many of these stylish, printed clothes are being overlooked in favour of plainer pattern free alternatives. However, this can often result in women feeling like the contents of their wardrobe is very boring and longing for a bit of life to be injected into it.
This can be done quite easily with the addition of a few statement fashion pieces which feature a print or pattern. One of the biggest trends of recent times, when it comes to patterns and prints, is animal print but many women shy away from these particular prints as they believe them to be unflattering. Traditionally animal print, in particular leopard print, was viewed as something quite cheap and tacky. However, this is no longer the case and animal print has experienced something of a renaissance. Although there are many items of animal print clothing which still look quite cheap there is also a vast amount which looks stylish and classy. Care and attention must therefore be given to choosing a piece of animal print to ensure that any purchase made by a woman results in her looking sophisticated and tasteful.

For those trying to introduce animal print into their wardrobe or for those who are uncertain of the trend it may be advisable to start off small. For example why not begin by opting for small clothing additions such as animal print cardigans. Cardigans are great staple items which should be present with every womanâ??s wardrobe.  If the right animal print cardigans are chosen then they can be worn with a multitude of other fashion items including black trousers or alternatively it can be worn over a dress. Animal print cardigans are a subtle way of reflecting this trend but for some women cardigans arenâ??t quite subtle enough. For those women it is advisable that they rely upon trimmings, belts and other accessories to reflect the animal trend.
Animal print accessories such as belts represent a great way of injecting this particular trend into an outfit. In addition to this it is great for women who are unsure as to whether they are able to carry this particular trend off or not. Accessories are versatile and can therefore be worn with a range of ensembles but more importantly they are extremely understated, consequently allowing the wearer to ease herself into this trend gently.

Although animal print was previously seen as something cheap and that many thought that the women who wore animal print somewhat resembled Bet Lynch but this is no longer the case. Rather animal print can be seen as classy and sophisticated and moreover it can add a youthful feel to an outfit. However, it is still recommended that time is taken to find the right piece of animal print clothing and that not too much animal print is worn at once, one item of animal print clothing per outfit is sufficient.

It is fair to say that many women often find it difficult to make their outfit stand out from the crowd. It seems that they struggle to differentiate what they are wearing from what others are wearing. However, this should not be the case as fashion is seen as an expression of personality and as such each and every woman should have her own individual style which is entirely different from everyone elseâ??s and consequently allows her to truly stand out.
Although the above statement is true in the sense that each and every woman does have her own individual taste, it also true that many women feel there are rules which must be followed when it comes to fashion and consequently their fashion choices are somewhat restricted. Women are constantly bombarded with information about what they should and should not wear. For example women are often discouraged from wearing stripes as such a pattern can supposedly result in a woman appearing larger than she is. Rather women are encouraged to wear block colours as this is apparently more slimming. So when trying to dress to suit and flatter their body type it is little wonder that many women end up feeling like they end up dressing similar to their friends and colleagues.

However, it is possible for women to dress in a way that is flattering to their body shape but which also allows them to make a statement and let their outfit stand out from the crowd. Accessories are the perfect solution to such a problem as they allow women to inject a real sense of personality into their ensemble. What is more accessories can also further help to flatter a woman’s body shape in certain instances, for example the addition of a belt to some outfits can draw attention to the waistline, the smallest part of the body and consequently makes a woman appear smaller than she is.

Women often believe they need to wear black all the time, as they find this colour to be slimming. However, darker colours can also look somewhat bland, especially during the spring/summer season and they do not help women in their quest to stand out from the crowd. Nevertheless if women do not want to deviate away from their trusted black trousers and top then they should use accessories to add a hint of colour to their ensemble. Beaded necklaces are a great accessory to own as they can be worn with a variety of outfits. Whatâ??s more a pink beaded necklace is the perfect choice if you are wearing a black dress, as if the right shade of pink is chosen it will make the outfit pop.

Rings are also a great option, when it comes to accessories, which should not be overlooked. Dress rings can be purchased relatively cheaply and can help to add a much needed touch of sparkle to some outfits. In addition to this careful consideration should be given to the handbag used with any given outfit. If a block colour is to be worn then it is suggested that a different coloured handbag is used, as this helps to add a sense of depth to the outfit and can also help to add a more youthful feel. When heading to a special occasion most women rely on their trusty little black dress and simply accessories with a black bag and shoes. However, why not try using a pink, green or even read clutch bag instead? The look will be just as glamorous but it gives women a bit more freedom when it comes to expressing their sense of style.
Women should not be afraid to experiment with accessories as they allow them to express their sense of individuality and what’s more they can add a bit of ‘wow’ factor to any outift.
