A stylish scarf is a wardrobe necessity whatever the weather.  In the winter, a wooly number will keep you warm while in the summer months a silk or sequin scarf can add a fashionable embellishment to any outfit.

Try teaming your skinny scarf with an in style over the shoulder top.  Tie at the side of your neck and let the scarf hang down to the front for a slimming effect.

Alternatively a skinny sequin scarf can be utilised as a belt, looped through low slung jeans for a casual daytime look with a hint of glamour.

Whatever the season, make sure you have a few fabulous scarfs to choose from and be creative when you accessorize.

The tunic is a failsafe flattering item, and can be utilised in the Summer months to keep you cool but still stylish.

Worn over the top of leggings or skinny jeans, the tunic can flatter most  figures and hide a multitude of sins.  Team with an eye-catching necklace, or choose a tunic with a jewelled neckline for added embellishment.

Tunics are a wardrobe essential as they can be dressed up or down, heels will add enough glamour to carry off the look in the evening, while flip-flops and some denim shorts will make a pretty pastel coloured tunic the perfect outfit for the beach.

To showcase your curves – or create some that aren’t already there – a halterneck can be the perfect style choice.

While drawing attention to a great bust, the halterneck also shows off the shoulders and collar-bone, which is an area all too often forgotten.

For those without ample cleavage, there are many push up and padded styles to choose from, so whether you choose a halterneck top or dress you can be sure that you will look fantastic.

With summer on the way, halternecks provide an ideal choice for your summer wardrobe, keeping you cool while you look fabulous.

Remember not to wear a necklace if you opt for a halterneck as it will clutter the neckline – keep things simple to nail this style.

Everyone needs a summer holiday, it’s it just the holiday itself, it’s the whole build up that gets us all excited, especially the shopping.

So we have complied a list of holiday essentials that you must always remember to pack..

1.       Bikini

Don’t bring more than two bikinis as you’ll only ever end up wearing your favourite couple anyway.  Shop to flatter your body shape and feel confident by the pool side

2.       Sun hat

A large floppy sun hat will serve two purposes â?? essentially it protects your head and avoids sunstroke.  As an additional benefit an oversize sun hat will give a glamour factor to your sunbathing and slim your body.

3.       Sandals

Shoes will take up too much precious room in your suitcase and won’t be comfortable to wear in hot weather anyway.  Invest in some pretty sandals and make sure you manicure toes before jetting off abroad.

4.       Maxi dress

Very on trend, and versatile for both evening, and throwing over a swimming costume in the day time, a maxi is an essential for your suitcase this summer. Everybody needs a collection of women’s dresses for the summer!

Leading fashion house, Debenhams, have launched an app for iPhone similar to its Beauty Club Loyalty programme according to marketingweek.co.uk.

The app comes as part of the brand’s latest digital initiatives programme designed to give customers a multi-channel service across all of their range of clothing and other brands online or in-store.

It will give users beauty advice from a team of experts which includes videos of their products streamed from Debenhams TV. It will also help users with a virtual shopping service which can help customers choose perfumes and find specific items they have seen online or in-store.

This will be the first in a long line of smartphone apps aimed at consumers with each being built around a specific theme, according to Simon Forster from Debenhams.

He said: “You can never replicate the exact in store environment but the app joins it up. We expect customers to augment their whole experience using stores, online and apps.”
