There are lots of ways to look stunning in plus-size fashion – it doesn’t have to limit your wardrobe choices.
But there are some golden rules to stick by to make sure you look elegant and beautiful without feeling uncomfortable.
Everyone has a favourite part of their body – whether it’s legs, chest, neck or a great smile. Make sure you flaunt your favourite bits – don’t be scared to show off your legs in a fitted skirt or classic shorts, and carry it off with confidence.
Having two or three precious outfits – perhaps occasional wear that you feel really good in – can be a great wardrobe staple, and can stop you worrying about what to wear if you’re suddenly invited out.
Don’t go for anything figure-hugging which is going to make you feel self-conscious – if you want to wear something tight, accessorise to make the look work for you. But don’t over-accessorise – if you’re wearing bold, bright colours, keep jewellery to a minimum. Or if you’re going for something plain and simple, feel free to get creative with bangles, rings or earrings.
Whatever you do, remember to be yourself, and you’ll always look your best.

Musically number one best-selling artist Adele dominates the charts at the moment, but her style has usually been accredited to wearing black, black and more black, but according to a leading plus size women’s clothing house she is stepping out in more than just black.

The Fashion Queen, Anna Wintour herself took control of Adele’s clothing style for an hour, dressing her in a flash of citrus zest for the Grammy Awards.
So it’s certainly true that whatever your size or style you can find beautiful dresses that will make you look radiant as well as stylish, just follow in the footsteps of Adele!

Curvy girls around the UK can slip into summer looking fabulous thanks to the fabulous styles available on the high street and online. With a huge range of choice for all sizes and budgets, everyone can feel confident in their clothes this summer.
Women blessed with curves should showcase them with well cut clothes to highlight their figures. Nipped in waists will show off an hourglass figure, while tailored linen skirts that finish at knee or calf length are most flattering to legs.
Meanwhile ladies lucky enough to own a killer cleavage can take advantage of pretty off the shoulder low-cut tops to draw attention to this area and widen the shoulders â?? making hips appear smaller.
Plain colours or small delicate prints suit plus-size curvy figures best – avoid loud or large prints and make sure to accessorise with belts and jewellery to accentuate your assets further.

It’s perhaps one of the worst times of year for anyone who has a fuller figure and larger breasts to start thinking about digging out that swimsuit.
But now more retailers are recognising that more women are in need of swimsuits that cater for the plus size clothing range and are now designing alternatives to the dreaded bikini.
There are a lot of retailers specifically online that cater for women on an individual basis by offering swimwear with a range of cup sizes to suit even the largest of breasts.
No more are we confined to the basic all in one plain black swimsuit, but have the option of colour and design, either all-in-one or ‘tankini’ for those a little more daring.
A lot of plus size swimwear designers also incorporate underwire for the cups for extra support making sure you don’t have to worry about anything going south!
So why not start planning ahead now in-time for the summer, check out the major retailers to see what they have on offer and you might well be surprised with what you find.
If you still feel a little self-conscious then why not buy a sarong to cover up the bits you’re not entirely comfortable with, they come in all styles and colours, with many designers offering them in the same line as the swimwear!
