Spring- A Sticky Situation

You’re so used to being cosy and warm in your winter coat and scarf that perhaps as the temperature rises, you feel clueless about women’s fashion and what to wear in the milder weather.

Let’s not get too carried away, it’s no heat wave, but the temperature is creeping up daily and some days only a jacket is needed for the outdoors.

We have all spent months in a cold frenzy and we are so used to our woolly jumpers and cardigans that the thought of peeling them away and shedding out ‘second skin’ can be quite daunting.

With no more flowing cardigans and over sized woolly jumpers to lovingly cover our lumps and bumps, spring wear can be very confusing.

Swap your bulky winter coat for a lighter fitted jacket or light weight fitted Mac, don’t ditch your winter warmer and reach for the vacuum packed bags just yet, as you never know when the temperature will unexpectedly drop back down and you may still need it.

Change your thick tights and ‘comfy’ trousers for some tailored, lighter weight trousers, if you feel comfortable, go for a more slim line trouser, chino’s are taking the high street by storm this season.

Swap your jumpers for flattering tops, flowing loose shirts and blouses are everywhere, these are great to cover up unflattering areas and you will still be right on trend.

For the days when you are still feeling the cold, throw on a cardigan in a lighter more ‘spring’ colour, not only will it get you out of the winter blues, but you will look ready to welcome to Spring weather.
