Five Ways To Wear Clogs
Clogs have already started to edge their way back into the fashion world lately, and we are only set to see this trend continue. Love them or hate them, clogs will soon be a wardrobe essential, so it’s a good idea to get to know which outfits to wear with them. The good thing about clogs is that they come in different sizes of heels, so you can still get that extra height boost when you wear them.
The Look For Work
Depending on the colour of the clogs, you can wear them with a pair of everyday trousers or a women’s suit for work. It would not be advisable to turn up in brightly coloured clogs, but a pair which are a sensible black or brown colour, will work well with similarly coloured trousers. You can also wear clogs with a skirt, such as an a-line or pencil skirt, in a colour which will suit. A good idea is to match the colour of your clogs with your handbag or accessories, such as your belt.
Everyday Look
If you are wearing clogs for an everyday look, such as going for lunch or out shopping, there are lots of different looks you can try. A pair of jeans and a blouse or top with a pair of clogs is a good casual look, which will keep you looking and feeling comfortable. Alternatively, wear your clogs together with a pair of leggings and a tunic top. Again, you can match the colour of your clogs with your handbag or belt, to complete your outfit.
Winter Look
An ideal outfit to wear with your clogs during the winter, includes a pair of trousers and a warm knitted top. To keep with the current trend, wear your clogs in a camel colour and wear a winter jacket in the same colour to co-ordinate your look. Accessorise your look with a handbag in a similar shade to give you the perfect winter outfit.
 Summer Look
When the weather gets better, there are many different looks you can alternate with your clogs. Shorts are set to be very fashionable over spring/summer 2011 and will look ideal with a pair of clogs in a suitable colour. High waisted varieties will help to create a slimming effect and denim worn with a subtle colour of clogs, such as tan, will look great for a look on the beach. Other ways to wear your clogs over the summer include teaming them up with a summer dress, particularly floral, which is a fabulously feminine style.
Going Out Look
You might thing that clogs are too casual to wear for a night out, but there are ways to wear them to make them suitable for any occasion. For instance, you can team them up with a gorgeous mini skirt or dress, for an outfit which is ideal for the dance floor. If you choose to wear trousers for a night out, then a pair of cropped trousers and a corset top will look great for a night out.
