Factors to consider when choosing womenâ??s underwear
Womenâ??s underwear can be considered as an integral part of any outfit and therefore with that in mind, there are several things that women must think about before they purchase new underwear.
The first consideration should be the style of the underwear. The style of the underwear should be chosen based upon the needs of the individual woman well as her body shape.  Some women may feel more confident about their body than others and consequently will choose different underwear from those women. For women who feel less confident about their body shape there are great selections of underwear available which all body parts to appear smaller, flatter, firmer and on occasion lifted, as is the case with underwear which is designed to enhance the bottom area. However, this underwear is not exclusive to those who feel less confident about their bodies. In fact many women, including those who are happy with their figures, opt for this body hugging type of underwear when they must wear an outfit which is tailored and clings to their curves. Although this type of underwear is not the most attractive of things to look at it, its worth should not be underestimated.
When considering the style of the underwear, it is also important to take into account the rise of the underwear. This again will be directly affected by the preference of the woman in question and what she plans to wear with this underwear. For those who like to jeans or other trousers which sit on the hips then a low rise style of underwear if advisable. When trousers or skirts sit quite low on the hips it is not desirable to have underwear which sits quite high up. However, if higher waisted clothes are to be worn there is no reason that high rise underwear cannot be worn.
The colour of the underwear should also be given adequate thought. It is important not wear darker coloured underwear under light coloured clothing as this liable to show through, and be a source of embarrassment for the woman in question. Rather, in such instances it is advisable to invest in white or flesh coloured underwear. Furthermore, if the clothing to be worn is darker in tone then darker underwear should also be worn.
The fabric used in the underwear is another element that requires consideration.  This is of particular importance when clothes that are tight fitting are worn. Some fabrics are more forgiving of little lumps and bumps than others. Underwear made from Lycra material would not be the ideal choice when wearing a snug dress. The fabric chosen will also dictate the comfort of the woman, so it should be given careful thought.
The final factor to take into account is the fit of the underwear. Similar to fabric this not only affects a womanâ??s appearance but also her comfort levels. It is important to ensure t he right fit of underwear is bought. If the underwear is too big it can make the ladies bottom appear shapeless and saggy. However, if the underwear is too tight the woman can appear larger than she in fact is. In addition to this if the right fit is not found the woman will not feel comfortable, which directly impacts on her confidence levels.
